Reasons why Wizkid's music video 'Manya' was removed by YouTube has been revealed following controversies it generated. Wizkid   Ayo Balogun, aka Wizkid’s latest song, Manya, which was recently uploaded to YouTube, has been removed.   There have been rumours trying to explain the reason the video was pulled down, however, reports say 'Manya' was removed because of Wizkid’s agreement with Sony music.   The contract allegedly places a limitation on the amount of local content he can release. Perhaps this is why he didn’t do a video for all his songs this year. The video can now be found on one Mutay of Legendary Beatz’s YouTube account.   Manya video was number one trending song on YouTube before it was taken down. Now, the video is neither on Wizkid’s VEVO nor on Starboy’s YouTube.   Before it was pulled down, the video amassed over 1.5 million views within a week.

Nigeria’s sale of Liquefied Natural Gas to Japan plunged last month, as the Asian country’s total LNG imports slipped by 2.3 per cent year on year to 6.1 million metric tonnes, data released by the Ministry of Finance showed on Wednesday. Nigeria sent only one cargo in October, down 49 per cent year on year, at a price of $292.98/MT, or $5.634/MMBtu, according to Platts. The Maran Gas Amphipolis delivered a Nigeria cargo into Futtsu LNG terminal on October 9, cFlow showed. Australia continued to be the largest supplier, shipping 1.75 million metric tonnes in October, down by 6.3 per cent. Malaysia’s volume rose by 20 per cent from a year earlier to around 1.1 million metric tonnes, making it the second largest supplier, while imports from Qatar fell by 34 per cent year on year to 778,489 metric tonnes. The Nigerian Senate has reacted to the widely criticized sale of Nigerian citizens as modern day slaves in the nation of Libya. The Senate    Investigation has been launched by the Nigerian Senate on the alleged sale of illegal African migrants “mostly Nigerians” as slaves in Libya, which it described as a slap on the face of Nigeria.   According to Punch Metro, the probe was based on a motion moved by Senator Baba Kaka Garbai (Borno-Central) at the plenary on Wednesday, entitled,  ‘Urgent Need to Protect Nigerian Citizens from the Libya Slavery Auction.’   President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, said there was the need for Nigeria to do more to protect its citizens.   He said,  “As a country, truly, it is a slap on the face of all of us if Nigerians can be treated in this manner. Up to 800 million global workers will lose their jobs by 2030 and be replaced by robotic automation, a new report from a consultancy has found. The study of 46 countries and 800 occupations by the McKinsey Global Institute found that up to one-fifth of the global work force will be affected. It said one-third of the workforce in richer nations like Germany and the US may need to retrain for other jobs. Machine operators and food workers will be hit hardest, the report says. Poorer countries that have less money to invest in automation will not be affected as much, according to McKinsey.

In what has been described by Nigerians as an act of profligacy, millions of naira has been allocated to the kitchen of Osinbajo's official quarters.   The vice presidential quarters of the presidential villa set aside N17 million for cutleries in the proposed 2018 budget.   Aside this amount, N50 million would be spent on acquisition of foodstuff and catering materials, with an additional N18.3 million for refreshments.   N2.3million would be spent on cooking gas and fuel cost.
